Laser therapy uses a unique therapeutic light of highly concentrated wavelengths to help tissue heal, reduce pain and inflammation, and increase circulation at the cellular level. This treatment is non-invasive, comfortable, and helps support the body’s natural healing process. Laser therapy can help with:

Tendon injuries Recovery support Muscle strains Joint pain and inflammation Soft tissue irritation Sports-related injuries

Dry Needling/Intramuscular Stimulation IMS is fine solid needles (acupuncture needles) are inserted into taut, tender muscle bands, or or specific injured sites that have become irritated and supersensitive. Penetration of a normal muscle is painless; however, a shortened, damaged muscle will ‘grasp’ the needle in what can be described as a cramping sensation. The needling will stimulate stretch receptors in the muscle producing a relaxation or lengthening reflex. The needling also causes small injury to the area, initiating the natural healing process. (may be the IMS?)

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Graston Technique® is a form of manual therapy that utilizes specialized tools to help treat soft tissue issues. IASTM works to improve mobility, support the healing of tissue, and reduce tension by manipulating areas that are tight or have scar tissue. IASTM / Graston Technique® may be beneficial for patients experiencing:

Scar tissue restrictions Tendon conditions Sports-related injuries Limited mobility Chronically tight muscles

Shockwave therapy stimulates healing in muscles, tendons, and soft tissue by implementing acoustic wave technology. This treatment is non-invasive and helps to encourage tissue repair, improve circulation, and reduce chronic pain. Our clinic utilizes the Longest Medical Radial Shockwave system (LGT-2500S), a high performance medical device that delivers precise and effective treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. Shockwave therapy may help with:

Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and dry needling are techniques used to help target trigger points in the muscles and areas of tension that are contributing to pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. Very fine sterile needles are used to stimulate affected muscles to help relieve the tension. When a tight muscle is being treated some patients may experience a “twitch” reaction which is normal and indicates that the targeted muscle is responding to the treatment. This technique is beneficial to reduce muscle tension, restore muscle function, relieve pain, and support the body’s natural repair mechanisms. IMS and dry needling may help with:

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a soft tissue therapy designed to help muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments that can contribute to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. This treatment combines targeted manual pressure with specific patient movement to help break down adhesions/scar tissue to restore normal tissue function. ART focuses on identifying and treating the underlying cause of soft tissue dysfunction and supports more efficient movement patterns. Active Release Techniques may help patients experiencing:
