Her approach to medical conditions is inclusive and holistic. She utilizes all non-drug approaches including acupuncture in treating illnesses before resorting to medications.

Acupuncture is a truly marvelous way of addressing various medical conditions including pregnancy related (morning sickness), induction of labor, breech version, lactation, menstrual irregularities, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), menstrual cramps, menopausal symptoms, (sleep disturbance and flashes), irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety, insomnia, migraine, musculoskeletal symptoms from injuries, post-concussion symptoms, osteoarthritis and “long” Covid.

Acupuncture is a way of restoring internal energetic harmony and rebalancing the parasympathetic and sympathetic systems that are often unbalanced due to our demanding life styles.

Dr. Alabaster utilizes two forms of acupuncture, body acupuncture and ear seeds. For children or adults who are afraid of needles acupressure may be used instead.
